![]() ![]() If you prefer to work in Album Covers view, then you can create a custom sort order in Sorting/Grouping preferences. So frustrating when basic quality-of-life features aren't present in a platform as gigantic as YouTube. In Tracks or Album & Tracks view, you can add the Date Added or Date Added (album) column to the main panel and sort by that. Once you've done that, you can go back to youtube itself, and your playlist will be in your library, where you can edit the playlist and remove videos, and also sort by date added, date published, and most popular. Even within an individual album, it does not maintain the tracklisting based on disc numbers but shows the. Now, the main panel actually splits albums if I add tracks on a later date (when I have added tracks to other albums in the intervening dates). You are able to sort your own playlists but not other people's playlists. There should be an option to sort smart lists by when a contact was added to the list. How could I follow the narrative if it was random order? It should be such a basic feature, to be able to sort a playlist. I wanted to watch Vice News' dispatches from Ukraine, they have a long playlist, I started watching then realised it wasn't in chronological order, it was basically in a random order. Now, I can either have the latest added at the bottom of the playist (so oldest at the top) with the correct song order, or the latest album at the top, with the song order reversed, so the last song on the album would play first and then go 'backwards' towards the first of the album. ![]()
